Titanium Dioxide: SPF 2 - 45
Facial oils
Want to reduce the signs of aging and prevent further damage? Try using a facial oil every day! Here are a few carrier oils we suggest: camellia, primrose and rosehip seed. They are some of the best facial oils because they penetrate the skin quickly and provide hormone-like compounds and antioxidant properties. Essential oils that are beneficial to add to the above mentioned carrier oils are carrot seed, ylang ylang, geranium, rose and neroli.
Camellia oil
Camellia is any plant of the genus Camellia in the tea family, Camellia sineusis. It is an evergreen-like shrub or small tree native to Asia. Camellia is one of the most rapidly absorbed oils, making it an excellent choice as a facial oil. Camellia oil contains vitamins A, B and E as well as phosphorus, calcium, iron, manganese and magnesium. For longevity, this oil should be stored in a dark, cool area.
Primrose oil
Primrose oil, Enothera odorata, is extracted from the bark, leaves and seeds. This very light oil has good penetrative abilities. It is excellent for eczema-like conditions and contains one of the best sources of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) next to mother’s milk. Primrose oil contains hormone-like compounds which can aid PMS symptoms. It should be stored in a dark cool area. Borage oil is similar in medicinal value to primrose.
Rosehip oil
Rosehip oil or rosa mosquetta, Rosa aff. Rubiginosa, is extracted from the fruit of the rose plant. The hips and seeds of hips are used. Rosehip oil contains 1.25% vitamin C, carotenoids, flavonoids, pectin, polyphenols (2.64%), riboflavin and fatty acids. It is one of the best oils for healing scars and burns. This oil is also widely known as a tonic for rosacea.
